JORDYN SPARGO, M.S., CCC-SLP
Jordyn received her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from the University of Redlands. Jordyn aspired to be a speech therapist since she was 12 years old. While babysitting a child with a speech impediment and limited verbal communication, she made it a priority to work with him through play so his voice could be heard. Through this experience, Jordyn grew passionate about working with kids and wanted to help give a voice to those who struggle to communicate.
Jordyn passionately believes that all children have the capability to learn, communicate, and succeed. She prioritizes building client-clinician relationships first in order to discover each child's motivations to help them reach their full potential and reflects patience as they work toward their speech and language goals. Her passion and determination of speech-language pathology drive her to continue her education in various areas in the field.
In her free time, Jordyn enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and going to the beach or river.
CALEIGH RICHARD, M.S., CCC-SLP
Caleigh received her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from California State University, Los Angeles and her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from Loma Linda University. Since graduating, Caleigh has found interest in working with children that stutter. She has found that children who stutter often struggle with self-confidence and typically believe that they will gain confidence only if their stuttering goes away. Caleigh prioritizes teaching her clients that they can learn to accept that they stutter while learning to use strategies to work with and through their disfluencies.
Caleigh is passionate about building relationships, being open-minded by letting go of old, traditional practices for new, better ones, and rewarding students for their success with candy or stickers. Caleigh's philosophy as a clinician is to never sacrifice an opportunity to build self-confidence in a client for the sake of collecting data.
In her free time, Caleigh enjoys playing video games, reading books, taking care of her plants, and playing with her pets.
